The Tale Of Mr. Howdy
It was a warm Spring morning many years ago when a fellow staying in a hotel was inspired to share a message of hope with the next occupant of the room. So he drew a happy, smiling character with a simple greeting of "howdy" and tucked it into the Gideon Bible in the nightstand.
Since that day many years ago, Mr Howdy has turned up in hundreds of hotel rooms from New England to Hawaii, and all over the country as his creator traveled for work. He's graced countless nightstands, bathroom mirrors, and unusual places to be discovered at a later time. And every time he appears, it's always the same- he's simply saying "howdy".

Don't Be An Asshole
What's most important to Mr Howdy is that he wants people to be kind to each other. He doesn't care what color you are, who you love, or how you voted. But he does know an asshole when he sees one. So his greeting also comes as a friendly reminder not to be an asshole. Because if you are, he'll have Santa put you on the "naughty" list, or call some guys to give you a pavement facial if you have it coming.

Have a Howdy-rific day!
